A BIT ABOUT ME
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Law at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. I previously worked at Roma Tre, Sapienza University and University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. My research interests cover a variety of fields of applied economics ranging from applied works in microeconomics to methodological aspects of causal inference in econometrics. I have been working on household risk sharing, taxation-related topics, and individual preferences for different configurations of social institutions. More in general, I am concerned with topics related to public economics, public finance, wealth and income distribution, with a focus on redistributive effects of public policies, pursued through the use of microeconometric and microsimulation techniques. On these topics I have published in various journals, including Journal of Applied Econometrics and Quantitative Economics. I have been consultant with The Italian Ministry of Economy, in both Treasury and Finance Departments
